First Nail Trim - Proud Mum!

While giving the herd their first Imaverol treatment this evening I decided to have a go at cutting Pixel's talons, fully expecting drama. I couldn't have been more wrong! She sat on my lap like an absolute angel while I clipped away and even gave me piggy kisses all up my arm! For all the time and energy I've spent with her and Widget trying to get then used to me since I got them in February (and the babies since their March and April birthdays!) it was so nice to get such a clear reminder of how far we've come. Love my piggies!

Lucky you! I've had Hazelnut for over 3 years now & the only way I can cut his nails without him jerking & risking accidents is to stuff his mouth with a parsley stalk while I cut. And he doesn't even give me kisses in gratitude for the parsley.

Well done you! It's great that she trusts you. I've had Muffin for 8 years and she still struggles and squeals. I even took her to the vets for a clipping once and the vet was even surprised at her noises!
