First hair cut

My girls both turn 1 next month. Twilight has had her first bum trim as she was a little damp from wee. She weighed in at 1111g and Heidi at 841g (didn’t manage to get a picture of her because I was making sure Twilight wasn’t getting into mischief running around the living room!).

They have come on so much and are pretty confident now! So pleased with them both. I just love them 💕

🤣 Thank you! I didn’t take too much off this time! It was so cute seeing her walk after with a little wedge cut! 😊🙊 She was so good and I quite enjoyed it xx
 
Another piggy who has a very fashionable wedge cut. The Ever Beautiful Betsy has to have a wedge cut too. But not in the winter as she is an outside piggy and it would be too cold for her. She just gets a very quick trim to get most of the tangles, wee, poop and boar glue out. In the Spring she will go back to having the full "Ironing Board Salon" treatment starting with a much needed bum bath!

Awww she’s beautiful! What breed is she?

I just took the very ends off that were damp, to stop any matts! I will properly go for a more defined wedge in summer same as you! Looks very trendy!

What product do you use for a bum bath in summer? Xx
 
Thanks my Betsy is very beautiful. She is a Sheltie Coronet. Her fur feels like silk. She is lovely most of the time except when she is in season. She used to be a right cow but she has calmed down a lot as she is getting older. She is 3 now.

I use Gorgeous Guineas Posh & Go for her bum baths. Just google Gorgeous Guineas and it'll come up. Can't link in on this device.

She is very beautiful! Sounds like a she can be a diva!

Posh and go 🤣🤣🤣 I love it 😄👍🏻 I’ll definitely be getting that for the salon 🤣 xx

My Tiggy had a bit of a bum trim a few weeks ago as she'd got a bit tangled & whiffy round her little botty,
I was quite pleased with my efforts (normally I have no style or fashion sense), but I guess she didn't like it as she had a draught up her skirt & refused to show it off by sitting on it... Little minx! :luv:
