I was excited about this and thought I'd share with others who would understand!

Last weekend I took one of my boys for lawn time (he lives in a neighbouring cage to his brother but they are not together as they fought as babies). This didn't go very well as I'd had a rather naive expectation that he would popcorn around and love the grass and fresh air, and in the end he refused to come out of his carrier, except for 5 mins and didn't seem to understand that you can actually eat grass that is still attached to the ground! I was hoping to get him out again today but the weather was too wet.

So, instead of lawn time I thought I would try Saga and his brother out on the kitchen floor instead. This is new for them too as I have been a bit too scared to let them loose before. And it was a big success! They both explored and ran around a little bit. One of them even went a bit mad at the end, and then did a wee on the fleece blanket! So now I know what the signs are of that too :)

Anyway, I'm happy because now they can get more exercise and won't be bored, and I know I can do this all year round indoors! Yippee!

Sounds like a successful floor time :) Our girls love a chance to go in the run in our living room and two of them Widget and Sasspy will do mad fast laps :)

Glad Saga and his brother enjoyed themselves.

mine love floor time, love to explore, go mad, run in circles in a conga line, popcorn occasionally, try to get into everything they aren't allowed in.

Sounds like he had a lovely time!

When we first got Tilly we let her have a run around the living room, she loved it but did a couple of wee's on the cream carpet which wasn't so lovely!
