Annie has a vet tomorrow morning :( She is losing fur on the bottom half of her body and has lost weight but she is eating and drinking normally and not hiding away although she has lost some of her bossy personality. What a mystery. Has anyone had any piggies who have had the same problem? I am worried about her and would love some healing vibes to come her way

Sending Annie lots of healing vibes!

Could it be due to overgrooming because of mites? I recall when Zebedee 🌈 was last ill, he lost hair at the inside top of his legs and in between them because he got mites.

Sending little Annie healing vibes, hope you get some answers and whatever it is can be easily sorted 🤞

Back at home now and Annie is in her hidey in case I venture near her again today. She 99% probably has cysts on her ovaries which can cause hair loss. She has had the first of three injections during the visit and will have to have one a week for 3 weeks (and fingers crossed), will avoid her having to have surgery. I heard her squeal loudly when the needle went in. :yikes: If only we could explain to them that its to help them.
Thanks for all the vibes and good wishes x

I've been there with injections (Comet had antibiotics that way), it's really unpleasant to hear them no matter how much good we know it does  fingers and paws crossed for Annie here!

After reading your first post I was about to say I wondered whether it was hormone related (ovarian cysts) and I can see now that you have the answer. Fingers crossed for her that the injections work.

Really hope the injections work and she’s feeling much better soon xx
