Finally made my 1st C&C cage. :) Pigtures

Hi

Well after weeks.. ive finally made my 1st ever C&C cage and i Love it! so does
my piggies... just wanted to show people what you think.. its 6x2 with a
2nd floor

The left side

That's amazing, we bought that tent thinking it would be bigger too. Am impressed your piggy manages to squeeze in, only our hamsters will fit in ours.
 
Wowie its huge, very lucky piggies in ther fab new set up :)
 
That is FANTASTIC! I looks so secure and well put together! Well done you! :D

Can I make one suggestion? You might want to swap the fine mesh ones from the side panels to the roof ones, this is because a couple of months ago, one of my piggies caught her claw in the fine mesh ripping it clean out, resulting also in a broken toe, and a very, very sore foot. This was due to a bonk on the bum by the Alpha Female.

I am sure, if yours get on wonderfully, this probably won't happen. Just thought I would mention it.

I wouldn't want to undo all the hard work you have put in though :p

didn't think of that.. I actually have loads of the roof grids left over... i only chose the mesh ones for the side to not being so daunting and "open" when they go to the top platform.. and it feels more secure and "safe"..

was laughing today though.. Chihiro (the piggy in the tent) everytime she walked onto that yellow blanket she was popcorning and jumping around with so much excitement, it was so cute.. :a19:

wow that looks excellent!

what a fab set up - it all looks very secure and cosy!

Love the picture of the piggie squished into the tent! x)^)
