finally got some absorbent bed pads!

i saw them recommended on here and got two sets and they're brilliant! much better than towels. the towels used to get quite wet and start to smell but these pads stay completely dry.

i used to do a full cage clean every other day, but with these pads i can change the fleece every other day and change the pads every other time, even though they were still dry after that time, but i'll see how we go.

if anyone is thinking of switching, try these. they also wash well and dry quickly.

I am really glad you like the bed pads - I use them and they never smell. They were great value lately with the offer that Tesco had on ( £2.39 for 7)

lol - I should have looked up your link first! I thought you were talking about the Huggies bed mats! those in your link look good though - I might try them!
