Finally changed to fleece - can they run?

As most of you know I have given the piggies their own extension to run around in, I work all day so want to make sure they have exercise they need

Do I leave the floor as it is? It’s plastic? I have put a puppy pad I got from Home bargains for £1.50 and it can be washed in machine, it’s foam inside but seems to wash well? Should I fleece line the floor with a large absorbent liner that I had made for me orrrrrr just leave the plastic floor?

Here’s a pic of what they have now. Any tips of how to pick up the poop? Seriously my piggies can poop ALOT!!

It’s great that you’ve given them more space! I would do fleece liners on the floor, piggies have a remarkable ability to find the places that aren’t covered and pee there. Then they walk in it of course!

As for lots of poos I personally use a dustpan and brush reserved just for the pigs. I used to use hand held hoovers but with the hay, hair and poo we broke 3 in 6 months or something so we’ve reverted back to the old fashioned methods

Yes good idea with the wee they do seem to find the places with no card or liner thank u will take them ideas on board
