Finacard Bedding!

I have been using finacard bedding for a week in my c and c cages,it is a very good bedding.ive 2 6x2 cages,each with four piggies in.i was using woodshavings,but had to change twice aweek,and it stuck to everything.i have only had to change it after seven days.ive scooped out wet patches every two days.The best thing is ,it does not stick to fleece cosies,which I'm delighted at!once the weather is better i will use fleece liners,but i was getting stressed out trying to dry the liners that i change twice a week,Just thought i would share my experience with this cardboard shredded bedding.
 
:agr: it's great stuff. I use fleece nowadays - but Finacard is my favourite bedding .
 
Is it quite soft? I know someone who used cardboard and it seemed bit chunky and sharp. I guess that wasn't this stuff?
 
It is shredded into strips,not squares,it is suprisingly soft,and no dust.you do need to change wet patches in prolific weeing areas,just every 3 days,or it can go soggy.But ive four piggies in the cage one neutered boar and 3 females.ive two boys in a five feet cage and ive not had to change any bedding for a week,then i do a full cean !
 
I love finacard. Really nice and soft and absorbent and as you say it doesnt stick to everything. I also like fitch.
 
Good to know, I'd heard about it but never tried it. I'm using Back2nature for the hay trays at the moment.
Love carefresh for the full cage but was expensive and i've now switched to fleece liners.
May look up the finacard for the trays, I'll be expanding that area when the bonding commences.
 
I used to use finacard for my rats and mice years ago, it is a very good bedding.
 
I use cardboard bedding and get on well with it. You can order Ecobale online at GJWTitmus in individual bales or more on a pallet and it's pretty similar to Finacard
