Afternoon All,

Hope you and your little ones are well.

Anywho, Cagney and Lacey have recently started to fight, however only when I get them out and into the house.

I've read the fab section at the top about behaviour however (it couldn't have been more corrct) but I was just wondering why they now only fight when they come out with me?

The only thing I can think of is that the outside surroundings is newer than their run, i.e they're used to their run now, so they're still having to find dominance over this bit of land so to speak.

Cheers!

New surroundings/territory (especially smaller ones), can indeed spark a new round of dominance behaviour.

Which age are they?

Thank god.

I don't believe they're even a year old yet. I got them at 2 weeks old back in August.

They are a funny pair, even though they fight - they both get jealous if I pick one of them up for a cuddle and not the other. The other one will come running over to where I'm cuddling the other.

Boars come into a hormonal phase at around 4 months old when each of them wants to be the most macho boy ever; a change in surroundings can trigger that.
