Fighting pigs

Seems like it's a common occurrence! My two boys (Salt and Pepper) tonight were chasing each other round the cage and making all sorts of noises. I get the impression that Salt is trying to be more dominant and Pepper is just taking it.

Is this a normal thing with piggies, do I just accept that they'll be like this? I see now that Salt is now sleeping outside their hidey hole (no noise now, so I guess they are sleeping anyway).

This is normal with guinea pigs. They are trying to work out who is the boss. As long as they do not draw blood they are fine.
