ThePiggyPalace
New Born Pup
Hello,
I have two boys aged 3 and 18 months old. They've been together since the youngest was a tiny baby and all has been well.
The oldest has always been the most dominant one and he's very dominant, very bossy! He would do thinks like push the youngest away from the bowls/hay but then the youngest would come back and they'd be fine. He's just always liked to show his authority.
There has barely been any aggro between them and I was only thinking the other day how lovely it is they get on.
The youngest has been rumblestrutting the oldest but the oldest has just given him an aggrieved look and walked away.
Today, they were both playing out in their room having free range time. They were clattering their teeth at each other, the oldest more so, but I destracted them and they went back in their hutch. I heard an almighty commotion about five minutes later, rushed in and saw they were fighting. Neither of them squeaked or sounded hurt, but when I seperated them, the youngest had blood coming from his leg. I stopped the blood flow (there seemed to be lots!), and tended to his wound, checked the other pig and he didn't have any blood.
So now, they are separated, but I was wondering if they can ever be together again? I work so I would be afraid they might fight when I'm gone. I don't know what to do.
