Fighting And Separating

Hi I posted a few days ago about one of my guinea p8gs bullying the other. Last night to went to abother level. He bit my other pigs eye and drew blood. I've had to separate and put him in my travel carrier. Tried to reunite them in the play den to clean both cage and carrier...he went for my other pig again. My question is...is it ok to keep in him there until my new larger cage with a divider arrives? Obviously he will have time out to play in the play den but sadly alone. I feel so guilty having him in there but I've nowhere else to keep him for now. Thanks in advance x

Hi Sarah

Sorry to here this. A travel carrier may be a little small. Is there anyway you can make a make shift cage for the time being to keep them separate in? Could you keep one in the cage and one in the play den for now?

Even a large storage box would give him more room.When does your new cage come?

I'll see if I can get a box. If i leave him in the play den my son will let him loose. Thank you guys x

I saw a thread on here about temporary carriers once and it had some great suggestions.
I will try to find it, but in the interim what about a large washing basket?

I went into a small pet shop and they have given me a small temp indoor cage for a rabbit just got to return it when my bigger one comes
