Fertiliser on lawn

Hi I just wanted to ask how long we need to wait to put the piggies on our lawn. My husband used fertiliser and weed killer 6 weeks ago.its rained heaps since then ( UK) Should we wait longer do you think? I’d much rather be safe than sorry! Thank you.
