Just got a bargin ferplast cage on ebay for £15 yesterday and collected it today. It's to replace Monty's old cage which had a crack in it. Only 2 weeks old and in 'as new' condition.

I'm keeping it on my floor which Monty is use to but do wonder about the stands - does anyone use them and find them useful?

Don't want to get a table as need to move the cage round if I want to get into my other end of the wardrobe (I don't use that end on a daily basis) Would also be useful over summer when we have the rewire/decorating done as I'll have to move him between rooms no doubt. Be easier to vac under/round the cage too?

Do those of you who have them find them sturdy on carpeted floors - I do worry if anyone knocks it if it was on a stand as there is not that much space in my room.

Thanks:)

I like the stands :) I have had one for a rabbit 100 and now have one for a rabbit 120. They are sturdy and don't move around unless pushed purposefully. The cage sits in the stand so it's not really easily to push the cage out of the stand, they are useful as somehow it makes things look tidier as you can see the floor. I do however store stuff under mine!

I have a stand for the 120 which does the job when I've needed to move mine out from there normal room.
I wouldn't call it that sturdy, it's easy to move around on tiled floors so it's great for that. It would be sturdier if it had a shelf underneath which would give it extra support, but it really doesn't bother me. It will be fine, just check the screws often as mine worked loose with too much moving around.

Hope that's helpful
