I have been trying to assemble one of these for over 1.5 hours now. I managed to get the two plastic long side pieces on, but haven't been able to put the others on. When I try to slide them on, they are stopped by the top of the longer ones, and the small hidden studs won't go into their allotted holes. The clips on the shorter sides certainly don't just "Click!" into place as the instructions suggest. I ended up with a flimsy piece of rubbish that fell apart, so I obviously didn't do it properly, so I disassembled it.

I rang Zooplus (since Ferplast is closed) and the woman was no help at all.

I read the reviews before purchasing and all bar one said what a nightmare it is to put together, but I'm stuck with it as this is the only one they have in the size I need, otherwise it would be in the bin.

Has anyone actually assembled one, and if so, how?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, I have assembled two of these - they were relatively easy to do but did take a bit of time - it did require quite a bit of strength to pull the side panels into place (so that the hooked plastic bits interlocked)......do you have a picture of the bit you are struggling with, I can't quite visualise the bit you mean :)

make sure you line up the little nubbins sticking down from the end of the short pieces as these go into the longer ones. I have this cage in the 140 I think and I didn't have any problems putting it together only thing I noticed was having to use more force than expected to slot the long pieces into place

I just put the 140 together on Tuesday evening. Took a few hours to get it sorted but was ok. Needs a bit of brute force on areas to get the click but it does all click into place- honest! I can't say I enjoyed the experience :flag::mal::D
