Would a Ferplast 140 pe ok for two piggies?
They will have a run also?

If anyone has got one of these cages, can you post piccies pritty please? :)

I am so exited. I MIGHT be adopting two ginger piggies called Bill and Ben. But Ive got to make sre my mum is ok with thsi first!

Can I just ask- what shall I use for the flooring on the cage?

For my rabbits I have got Vetbed? But would woodshavings be ok for the piggies?

I use newspaper, Aubiose and soft straw on the bottom of my hutch.

Some people advise against wood shavings but i have never used it 98)
 
So- If I put newspaper, and straw on the bottom they will feel comfortable?

I will probs take the sheltered bit out and use a Pigloo, as to add more space :)

Is there anything else that is important about housing?

And any pics would be appreciated ;)
 
I'll upload some pics later for you, going to give my lot their haircuts O0

Oh and make sure its soft straw as the harder stuff could poke their littl eyes out.
 
Sorry i also use hay as they like to eat their way through a big pile.

No pics yet, i'm too lazy to go get my USB cable :D
 
i use megazorb with some of my piggies, and fleece with newspaper underneath for others

i find fleece too high maintainance, and only use it to cut costs.

i love megazorb, it is very absorbant

believe me the fleece doesnt stay that clean for long that is straight after a cleanout
 
Sorry if I sound thick. Does Megazorb look a bit like riped up tissue or towel?

So here is the plan (it has changed a bit)

A Nero 4 (with the yellow cover took out)
Megazorb on floor
Hay in part of it (comfort)
2 Piggies (Bill and Ben)
A Trianglar Run for outside?

Does this sound Ok?

if you have seen carefresh, it is similar to that, but in smaller pieces, and a lot less expensive

i pay £5.95 for a huge sack that lasts about a month

that sounds like a good set up :)
 
Thanks, Also I was thinking about one of those stands for the Nero 4? Do you know so the piggies would be at my level and not on the floor?
 
Has anyone got a Nero 4 setup and has got piccies, its just that I want to show my mum some examples f what we could have :)
 
Wow Looks great! My bunnies had a THistle hall when they were babies. They outgrew it so they now have a Playhouse :smitten:
 
I also put a shelf in the bedroom compartment so theres a little guinea pig perch in there ;D
