Hi everyone,

I brought my new piggies home last week! :-) Eddie and Jeff are both doing well, but the cage came with no instructions, and I have extra bits that I don't know how to use! It came with 2 black corner pieces (shaped like an L), and several black tubed shaped pieces...I'm not sure what to do with them! And although the piggies are still young, and not big enough to be able to reach above the tray to try and escape...I'm a bit concerned that perhaps the cage is not as secure as it was designed to be!

Suggestions would be great!

Thanks
Claire

If this is the cage you have

Then circled in Black is where the L shapes attach to keep the cage sides together (needs to be on all 4 corners) and I'm thinking the red circled bits are the tube shaped you described

Hope this helps
Becky

Hi, and welcome.
I think the L bits clip to the bottom of the wire walls at the back corners.
The tube bits go on other bits of the wire walls.
They are usually there to raise the wire walls up enough to allow the side clasp things to click lock, if that makes any sense.
If you look carefully at the photos in the next two link you might be able to figure out the problem.

The following link is for instructions probabley for a slightly diferent model to yours but it has detialed images if how the L bits fit etc.

Hope this helps you in some way.

Looks like Becky beat me to it, far easier to understand too, Doh!

Thank you for your help, both of you! Much appreciated :-) I did suspect that for the "tube shaped" ones, but they are joined up together with a thin bit of plastic between each one (must just have to split them apart), but it made me think they were for something different!

Thanks again :-)
xx

Not much help but i had the same problem. I had no idea where those L shaped bits went untill now.. except mines a double 100, so two storey. I think i can work it out.

Thank you. ;)

And the most peculiar thing is that the wire locks to close the cage were in a plastic pouch by themselves, and those plastic bits were packed together with the water bottle...! Oh well, at least we've figured it out now!
