Female Mounting Other Females!

Hi there I have two female guinea pigs and my larger pig chihiro sometimes mounts my smaller female I thought it was just a dominance thing but it has happened about three times each time a couple of months apart from the last, if anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it

They may be deciding who's boss, there's a Girl behaviour topic on here somewhere, tells you what's normal, if you're concerned then you could get them double checked by a vet, in what gender they are.

Sometimes a girl that is in season may 'pretend' the other female companion is a boy, and try to mount them. But the other girl, should kick them off, to say 'Get off',

It sounds like she is in season, it happens every couple of weeks or so and some seasons are stonger than others.

They are definitely girls I've had them checked I will try to find that thread thank you for your helphelp
