Hello

I have two females who have lived with each other for several years, they used to have an older female with them until she died over a year ago.

For about two weeks now, the more timid female has started harrassing the other normally more dominant female. She is chasing her around and seems to be trying to hump her as well as head butting her.

I've read about humping lasting a few days but this has been going on for a while now. I've tried increasing floor time but it also happens whilst they are out.

Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks
Rosie

The constant humping is often a sign of ovarian cysts causing hormones to be out of sync; a check up, scan and discussion of the various treatments would be my next move.

If you need recommendation for a good vet in your area please let us know.
