Feeling sad

Hi Everyone

Matt was walking home last night and found a little dog running by the side of the road.

He waited with the dog for half an hour to see if he could see the owner, he couldn't so he brought her home, he said that we could keep her if an owner didn't come forward, we have just taken her to the police station and they said that they think they have her owner so the policewoman rang her up, the woman was shouting down the phone to the policewoman saying well does she respond to the name sky!

The policewoman said well are you gonna come and collect her and then the woman said i suppose so.

I just feel so upset but i know i have done the right thing, i just hope that the owner treats her well as she was really skinny.

I'm gonna ring the kennels up tomorrow to make sure that she has being collected.

Just feeling sad its made me really miss having a dog

Agree 100%. If "you" (not you personally, I mean anyone) lost your dog, wouldn't you be like "Yeah I'll come down and collect him/her as soon as I can!" not "I suppose so"

But hey, hope she has a great home waiting for her to back in :)
 
i'd be down there like a shot if it was my dog ;)

no-one would want him,hes a nightmare lol
 
When i first moved in with my OH I brought my three Yorke's with me, One of them was very old, Rosie she ended up with a lump in her breast that had to be removed, the operation did something to her a she went loopy Lou, so one day my OH opens the door up and she bolts out, we lived in the middle of town, I spent five hours looking for her,before it became dark i rang the police, dog warden, petrol garages and pubs in the area, That night was the longest i have ever had, first light out again when a builder said they saw a small dog being chased by other dogs on a building site on the edge of town,

They were no where in sight, went home and as i walked through the door the phone was ringing, the police had had a call from a family about 20 min walk from me that a little dogs was whimpering under there car, and also they had been called by CCTV to say they had seen a small dog running up the high street,


Yes it was Rosie I sobbed my heart out, I cannot understand why people let there dog run wild and to say i suppose so is disgusting, she does not deserve a dog,
Needless to say i didn't talk to my OH for the rest of the day, and Rosie was just exhausted but unhurt, but she went to the vet anyway.

so that was long winded! with no conclusion really sorry ;D
