Feeling a little sad today 😞

This photo has just came up on my Facebook memories and has made me feel a little sad as it’s the last photo I took of Elizabeth and Esme before Elizabeth crossed the rainbow bridge on Christmas Eve last year Looking back, the signs were there

I’m really missing all my piggies right now even though I know Esme is very happy with @Wiebke and her friends xx

The same thing happened to me in November on the anniversary of my Eddie’s (dog) passing. Try to remember all the happy times you had with your piggies and the fantastic life you gave them. X

Feel sad and have a little cry if you want.

Grieving is a spiral; missing the lost ones (people or pets) and having that pain brought back from time to time is part of the process. That's why I don't like those social media random pictures selections; they have caught me out badly a few times.

You always see more in retrospective or as an outsider.

You have given Elizabeth a very good and happy life. That lump of hers was sadly one of these weird cosmic lottery short straws you do not know can exist and cannot brace for.

Esme gives you a big whiffy smack. She's burrowed underneath the tunnel again...

Thank you, that lump really was a weird one it’s just a shame it started to grow internally as well as externally
