It's weird but never thought I'd say this!
I have loved fleece & so have the girls, however since coming back from my hols to 2 of them with mange mites I have had them on newspaper & hay ever since so I can thoroughly strip & clean their C & C daily. I have discovered how much easier this is No washing, no hoovering, just bin bags & pop the newspapers in & spray & clean down the correx, it's bliss
So much easier, but am I being selfish thinking I might keep them this way? Does anyone do this, just newspaper & hay? Is it a good idea to maybe just pop a bit of fleece in their sleep areas?
How long before the mange mites will no longer be active? It's been 10 days nearly since their Stronghold treatment at the vet's; she said if there are no new lesions then they don't need a 2nd treatment with Stronghold & to change their cage daily, which I have.
