Hi I’ve got an appointment for Milo at the vets on Thursday but been doing some reading on here & now wondering if he may have fatty/pea eye?
I know he can’t be diagnosed on here as such but anyone had any experience with it able to help?
It doesn’t seem to bother him at all, he’s eating, happy & healthy & seems completely his normal self but thought I’d better get it checked just incase!

Hi

Fatty eye is usually more towards the lower corner at the back end, so we cannot tell you for sure but it may be a possibility.

Anyway, the exposed conjuctiva is not looking painful or inflamed. Your vet will compare with the other eye and will have a good look at the conjunctiva, which we cannot do for you. Good for having it checked. Any vet would rather be seen over a harmless issue rather than having a bad one underestimated and having a medical battle on their hands by the time they are seen.

Great thank you, I didn’t think it looked sore but best to be safe & get them seen! Thanks for your reply
