Fat Ball Holder, Now A Hay Feeder

What a good idea, I have been trying to think of alternative hay holders as they keep pulling the rack and hay off the cage and sleep and poop on it - so I get through a lot of hay as they need fresh hay constantly.
 
i used a long fat ball feeder were you drop 6 fatballs into it , it made a fab hay feeder i used the plastic keyringclips to atach it to cage so i just unclip itto wash it and fill it
 
I use the tube type . I will post a picture when I am on my big computer (can't do it on this device).
 
I used to use something similar for my loan boar, he had a suet feeder (i think thats what it was called) which is similar but square, and it was great, but not much good for my pair of pigs, they emptied it in seconds! haha.

I'm used to it now. They get hay all over their cage floor getting it OUT of their hay rack and I get hay all over the bedroom floor getting it INTO their hay rack. Bit of a no brainer really but, as long as my piggies have a constant supply of hay to munch on, I'm not bothered.
 
This is a brilliant idea! I'm definitely going to try it for my piggies, thanks for sharing! :)
 
Yep I like this idea got the food balls with bells on, so that would help too. Still as been said hay gets everywhere anyway but everything helps x
 
I got two square bird feeders today 2 pounds in total. Packed them with hay. It's been fun watching the boys really going for it x thanks for the idea x

I see I thought it was a bed type thing, every time I tie things to the boys cages they pull them off and do their business all over them . They certainly know what they like !! X
