Humbug's passing has left a void in Bonbon and Truffles herd. They're squabbling a bit. I think Bonbon is trying to maintain her position as boss, but Truffles is challenging her. Truffles is only 14weeks.
It's hard to tell whether the two are going to bond when they sort out who's boss.

It is part of re-establishing the hierarchy; especially if Humbug was the boss pig. That can leave a big void for the underpiggies who have to sort out between them who has the stuff to step into some big pawprints! they should settle down as a mini herd once they have cleared who has the bigger clout. It sounds like Truffle is quite dominant and ambitious and Bonbon isn't, but has size and experience on her side.

Bonbon has just run past with a few strands of Truffles hair in her mouth, so I think I know she'll win for sure. When Treacle past, Humbug went into overdrive with dominance, though there was never any fall out, just a lot of humping. Bonbon seems to prefer her own company at this time, she used to share the house with Treacle, they were always together.

I hope that this will be the worst of it and that things will settle down soon again.

Things seem a bit more settled tonight, no chasing, well it just seemed to be confined to floor time, they're fine in the cage. Think it'll be a few days before things get back to normal though.
