Fabric Run Ideas

Hello all

My OH has made a pen for the girls, but despite it being quite big, I am not keen on it. The wire mesh used is too big,and I'm afraid the piggies are going to get stuck trying to get out.

The base is for mixing cement, but it was purchased clean from a Wicks store.

I have also been looking at the stuff on Zooplus, and I can get one of the large 8 sided fabric runs for £35. What appeals to me is whatever run or pen I have, it must be able to be put up and taken down easily, as I don't have the room for a permanent one.

What do you all think of these fabric pens? I did have one for the hamsters years ago, but they simply chewed holes in it.

how about C&C grids ? You can cable tie them together so the run can fold up when not in use ....

I have ordered the large 8 sided fabric pen from Zooplus. I saw the same pen in a petshop today £61!

I couldn't wait any longer. The girls need floor time, so the old (current) pen is in use. They are in it now, hiding, and purring in a not happy way. But I'm sure that they will get used to it...I'm cleaning out their cage tomorrow, so they will be back in it.
