I washed the pigs fleeces a few days ago and I jst remembered that I put fabric conditioner in with the wash. I only usually use powder. They smell lovely now :) but is this ok for the piggeroo's skin?

The only thing you will find is that it forms a barrier and makes the urine stay on top, or so I've been told which is why I never use it in my washes for the pig and bun bedding.

Oh no, do you think if I pop them in the machine again with nothing but the water ,they'll be ok?

You can rinse them again, or wash them again without conditioner, but the main thing is just don't use the fabric conditioner anymore. I doubt that you've ruined your fleece in just one wash :)

this is handy to know actually, i usually put fabric conditioner in with my fleeces when i wash them. i've been using them with my younger guinea pig in his indoor hutch, but have just decided to start using them in the hutch outdoors with the two girls - that's a lot of wee that wouldn't be sinking through! x
