So I’ve noticed that one of my piggies (Thor) has a eye squinting thing it isn’t wet and it’s kinda flakey also could it be from his bedding( switching to fleece soon). Should I be getting him some eye drops?
P.s. I live in Dothan Alabama I don’t think we have any exotic vets here I could take him to?!
First pic is of the eye I’m worried about!
Second pic is his other eye

Hi! :)
In regards to his eye: I would wait for a health professional to respond to this thread. This is a UK based forum, so most members will not be up for a few hours.
In regards to the vet: These two vets are both somewhat close to you:
Veterinarians: Alabama - Guinea Lynx Records
I hope that this helps! :)
This vet is in Dothan but was not on the vet list. The website says, however, that they treat exotic animals. I do not live in Alabama, but maybe it is worth asking friends or family whether or not it is a good clinic?

Thanks, just wanted to point out that we don't have health professionals. Just members who are more experienced with health and illness matters who are our health and illness experts. Just in case the OP thought we had a vet or someone who could diagnose through the forum.

It does look like something is irritating the eye. It could be damaged and if so, needs to be treated asap as eyes go downhill very quickly and can result in an operation to remove them if the damage becomes too bad. You do not necessarily need to see an exotics vet though it's always beneficial to know of a knowledgeable piggy vet. The treatment for eye injuries is the same in other animals so in the case of problems with the eye a general vet will suffice if you are not near to any of the ones listed on the guinea lynx website linked above.

Sorry!
I meant those who are marked as notable contributors to health in their signature. :)
