Eye problem

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding one of my guinea pig's eye.

She seems totally fine but over the past few months the area between her eyeball and he skin seems to have gotten bigger and now you can see this white area between her eye ball and the fur which is a little strange, it isnt part of her eye.

I was wondering if this is an age related issue? she is 4 and a half.

This condition has not worsened it is the same as when it happened a few months back and she is not scratching her eye at all.

I have attached an image for reference.. sorry if the explanation is not very good it is a little weird to describe.

Any tips would really be appreciated thank you

I think it may be fatty eye but I’m not sure. Beat thing to do would be to get your girl seen by the vet.

Yes I took her to the vet he said it was nothing to worry about but he did not specify anything so I was wondering if anyone on here has something similar. I just googled fatty eye it does resemble Lily's eye a lot thank you for the tip
