Eye operation: homemade cone

Hi there
I went to see an AMAZING vet today who is operating on Clover as she has damaged her eye and it has now become infected which was caused the back of the eye to leak in to
the front. She’s having her operation Monday and the vet advised to have an cone as she will likely scratch and cause further damage before and after her operation. I’ve looked online but most wont be delivered in time... any ideas for a homemade cone would be appreciated.

My vet made me one by cutting a circle with a large hole in the middle out of an xray film. She used masking tape around the inner circle so it didn't dig in to the neck and masking tape to fasten it once it was on Eliza's head
