Eye licking?!

Well Heidi has started doing this a lot, I was worried to start with because it looked horrific, I thought she was biting their eyes but thank god she's just licking (it's still grim to watch though!) Why would she do this?

My Kiki (who only has one eye herself!) is always licking Moomin's eyes, quite harshly.... she doesn't do it to any of the other pigs (she's in a big group) and it doesn't seem to do Moo any harm - but it's odd isn't it?

It's so sweet! I have quite a few "kissers". Sophia frequently licks Delilah's eyes and ears, and Dexter, Jasmine and Saffron are also a little "kissy clique". It melts my heart every time!

I know they use that stuff out of their eyes to condition their coats, or least that's what I read, but I can't work out what she gets from licking the others? She really means it aswell, she sits there for a good 5 minutes sometimes, and whoevers getting their eyeball licked seems to be quite happy to let her do it!

I've not seen any of my lot doing it, never knew anything about it till I read this thread. Very odd.
