So I noticed tonight while giving Gizmo a little health check he has a spot in his eye.
It seems to be inside in the pupil area it doesn't look like it's on the surface.
It wasn't there a few days ago last time I gave him a check but I interact with my piggies daily so this has definitely appeared in the last day or two.
DW, I will be taking him to a vet next week to get it checked out.
I was just wondering what this could potentially be, has anyone seen it before and should I be panicking?

Hoping the images work I haven't used a forum in years!

Ultimately all eye issues need a hands on check by a vet so we could not tell you what it might be. A white spot could be many things.
If it’s the start of cataracts for example then there would be nothing a vet can do. Sight is not a piggy’s strongest sense and they manage very well without being able to see.
If there is any chance it’s a haypoke then he needs to be seen by a vet today - eye injuries are considered urgent and need to be seen within 24 hours of it occurring.
