Eye Crusties (Picture Attached)

Hi all!

I’ve noticed that one of my guinea pigs has some crust around her eyes (but most of it is just on one). They look white to me, so I thought it could be cleaning fluid.

There’s no problems otherwise. No uptick in sneezing, no noisy or labored breathing, no crust on her nose, etc. She’s still acting the same, I just noticed more crust than usual. She’s a bit on the heavy side (meaning she can get a little lazy with her grooming - I’ve seen it!) so it’s not uncommon for her to miss her cleaning fluid and get some crusties. I’ve just noticed them more in the past day.

I’m taking her for a vet checkup anyways to ease my mind, but I figured I’d get some opinions from my friends here too. Does this look like the type of crust you’d see from a URI?

these things are very difficult to tell from a photo but a vet check should solve what the problem is. Hope it goes well and is easily sorted
