Hello friends it seems I’ve run into a slight problem with my baby boar, today i checked on him and it looks like his eye has white crust looking dandruff almost but only on one eye, I’m wondering if this goes along with his bald patch he’s had since the day he was born but I’m not sure, I’m getting him an appt but and advice or help right now would be great! I should note I have noticed it a bit before but now it seems like it’s getting worse😖the bald patch is right above his forehead but it’s hard to see cause he’s very fluffy!70EF11B1-2725-417B-A288-A9F195459854.webp1F39AB27-03AA-4F3E-AE97-8B3BE738F0A4.webp0D2A6602-F84F-41EC-8E07-AE3713A9A887.webp

It may be fungal but only the vet will be able to tell you just practise good hygiene and clean him out thoroughly hopefully whatever it is can be sorted easily.

I’m afraid he needs to see a vet as it looks like a fungal infection. Please don’t home treat, particularly as it is right in the eye area. Here is our ringworm guide. Please have a good read because it is transmissible to humans and you need to protect yourself. Ringworm: Hygiene And Pictures

Thank you I had suspected that it could be but I’m afraid the soonest he can be seen is the 30th is there anything at all I can do at all until then😖

I would try and see if you can move your appointment nearer. There’s not much you can do I’m afraid. Just be vigilant with hygiene etc. Good luck!

:agr: Ask the vet if they can expedite the appointment.
