Extension

Well, I have FINALLY got around to extending the boys cage. As some furniture has gone to my auntie, i now have the space to do so. Here are some pics of before and after

I know you cant see the hayloft that was removed, but it is there. lol

In my defence, i do have the flu... and had a fever of 41.7 yesterday... lol

I was suposed to be doing uni work, but fever means headache, so no work getting done. *sigh* And i thought i might as well. Had all the windows open and the piggies told me it was too cold, and i must shut them!

Just wanted to bump this up to say, i cant BELIEVE the change in my piggies since i had this extension done. They used to be the most scardie piggies in the world. They never came out of hiding unless you wernt in the room, or you were sitting up out of the way on the bed and being silent, (even after i had them for nearly a year)

Within 4 weeks of the extension, they have really come out of their shell. The wheek for veggies, chat to eachother, they even stay out and eating when my mom pokes her head round the bedroom door! (which she is very pleased with )

I have gone for the millions of hideys approach, and they seem to love it. Here is a picture of the cage this week (as you can see, i have a number of the cosey items i have made in their, dont worry they are not the ones for sale, these are ones i purchased myself and i will be donating the same amount as anyone else who has bought one, to suzy at Glynneath guinea pig rescue ) You will also see that cuddles cups are only usefull upside down with my boys!
