Extending Cage Help

I have a little friends 140cm cage that i have added two loft areas but it now seems too small. See below any ideas how i can extend it? I have another 100cm cage but it only opens at top so i cannot link the doors?

Would the side lift it is it fixed?You could cut a hole and smooth off edges if you didn't mind damaging the small cage.

The door on the main cage opens down which is the problem. I wonder if I can take the door off and put on the other way. I can cut an other in the small cage.

Is your small cage made of wire? Could you bend the wires where they join onto the cage. And remove the sides? I took apart Peanuts old ferplast 100 cage so I could use each separate panel to put a base in my c&c (underneath the corex) so you could maybe remove a panel to join the cage on some how. You just need strong pliers lol.
