Extending C&C Cages?

I have currently got Fudge & Aero in a 4x2 cage but want to extend it to a 5x2 is it possible to just create the extension cut a bit of the 4x2 out and duct tape the two Correx bases together to make it a 5x2?

Yep you can do that :-) I had several bits of old correx bodged together using tape in my girls temp cage and it worked fine, I overlapped the pieces and taped them down and had no leaks :-)

I'm also going to add an extra hay loft on top for all their food so the ground level will be for playing and sleeping etc. Spoiled Piggies !
