Hi everyone! I bonded a baby third guinea pig in with my 2. I will need a bigger cage as the one I currently have is a 2x3, the cage I have is originally meant to be a 2x4 with 1x2 loft I bought this second hand however I didn’t have the space to keep the cage 2x4 and they didn’t use the loft so I turned it into a litter area which I intend to keep
Since this cage is supposed to be a 2x4 expanding that way will be easy I still have the piece of correx I cut off hoping to just tape it on with strong tape
However this is still to small, so I want to make it 3x4 or 2x5 (ideally 3x4) how do you expand a cage outwards with the correx In the way? And where do I buy the correx?
(I am planning on expanding to the 2x4 at least by September because I don’t have to buy anything I just need to make space)

Even assuming you have sows, 2x4 isn’t big enough. Is there any way you could change to 2x5 as soon as?

You could always just buy more correx and put it in the gap when you expand. They can quite easily jump over to get in and it could be the kitchen area.

If you’re in the UK, you can buy it on eBay. It comes rolled.

2x5 may be harder to do than 2x4 the now just because I don’t have the space until I move bedroom which is happening before September but they do get to freely roam around for an hour everyday. I would rather do a 3x4 because this is a better shape than a 2x5 even though it’s harder for me to do
I really hope they can jump it Ill try that, with eBay the sizes confused me is one sheet small or large from there?
