Hi all,
My piggy is quickly losing weight and is not in a good way, my normal vet has no idea what's wrong with him (done blood tests and everything which all came back normal), and has told me to take him to an exotic Vet, however I have no idea where to start! I'm in the Bridport, Dorset area. Has anyone got any suggestions?
Thank you!
Hannah

Hi and welcome

We have got a list of recommended vets on our expanded top bar (use the three horizontal lines icon). Otherwise, members that are in your wider area may (or may not) be able to advise you. We rely on member feedback and updates for certain vets moving around or somebody finding someone new they can recommend.

All the best!

I’m sorry your piggy is poorly. I hope you can find a piggy savvy vet who can find out what the problem is. Sending healing vibes to your piggy. ❤️

I’m sorry you’re piggy is unwell 😞 @Betsy is in Dorset and may be able to recommend someone x

I use a vet recommended by my local Guinea Pig rescue. It's in Upton which is around 40 miles for you so an 80 mile round trip. They are Upton Surgery. They aren't guinea pig specialists but are good with piggies and are willing to learn. Hope you can get your piggie sorted and on the road to recovery.
