Exercise in winter

Do you put your guinea pigs out on the grass in winter? Just wondering what my options are for the piggies over winter when the weathers wet and cold.. was thinking I could put the run inside my daughters plastic play house when the weathers milder (it hasnt got a floor)

What do you do?
 
I never put my piggies out when its cold or damp at all as its just not worth the risk of them getting ill. Do you have anywhere they could exercise indoors?
 
Not really any large floor space indoors (3 kids and 2 cats!), tho I do have an "outhouse" I could probably utilise some how.... Hmmmm food for thought..
 
I have 4 kids and have been wondering the same thing! I have seen a pop up type run somewhere that has a ground sheet in it. trying to remember which website it was :/

simular problem

Our house is quite small and mum won't let me have them on the floor at all in case she chews something up! is it ok to put her in a large boz and line it with paper, sawdust and hay?

You need to keep them contained in a safe area, something that they can't chew or escape from, with a lid if you have other pets. Maybe a pop up run like this one:

I Posted the same thing!

I just ordered one for my piggies. It works both outside and indoors. The bottom is detachable. The one I ordered has a place for a water bottle. Didn't check this one. Some don't some do.
