An exercise cage is open top cage with toys to play with. Guinea pigs can play in it. Why do you prefer this when you can't get outside?

My exercise cage is an extension to their hutch - so , they can still get back in their hutch if they want to. I attach it every day - but only when I am around (safety) . I like to give my guineas a change in environment as well as giving them some extra space to exercise in.

My hallway floor is covered with lino so I usually use some spare C&C grids to block off the doorways and let them waddle around out there for a few hours. There's always a hay tray and water bottle, some fleecy areas for snuggles and plenty of hideys and toys :luv:

My three love exploring (in a little piggy train to start with, until they get their bearings).
