Hi,
I have three piggies and they all eat great, i feed them a good amount of pellets and always keep their hay filled. I feed them romaine lettuce, celery and rarely some fruits as a treat. I figured out that one of my piggies has been producting really smelly poop that can look very watery. Her bedding where she usually spends her time is looking more wet than usual. I was thinking since she drinks an excessive amount of water that’s why the bedding looks more wet, but her drinking problem has been going on for a bit now with no wet bedding. Her bump is looking a little more wet than usual and it’s concerning me. I’m just wondering if I should cut out on all veggies for a bit to see if the poop will thicken up. Or anything that will help me get her better. Please help

If your piggy is having soft poop, then please remove veg from the diet for a few days to allow the gut to resettle. If after a few days off veg, poops have not normalised then please see a vet.

Switch from routine weekly weight checks and instead weigh her daily so you can monitor hay intake more closely.

An increase in drinking water should always be checked by a vet.

I’m not sure what you mean by her bump looking more wet than usual.

Please ensure you are only feeding one tablespoon of pellets per pig per day
