Everything he eats, it comes out from his eye

Hello! I have an important problem, my guinea pig had surgery and his eye was removed alos one teeth. After the surgery, the place became swollen and the food that he was eating was coming out from under the stitches, the stitches absorbed and now after 3 months in that space is a hole and if he eats something like lettuce, dill, parsley etc it comes out from his eye and it leeks, also if he eats solid food a small amount come out and it is a crust forming. I do not know why is this happening!
The doctor didn t sew him right or what? It isn t possible that all of his food to come out of his eye
Please help me!
What should I do?

We had a piggy, here at TEAS, who came to us with a retrobulbar abscess (abscess behind the eye). The abscess had eaten into the bone and had caused an opening between the eye socket and the mouth. Her eye was removed but when she ate, some food came out of her eye socket. She lived with this issue quite happily and I’m sure it upset us much more than it affected her! Definitely worth getting your guinea pig rechecked, but if nothing can be done it is possible for them to live with this condition.
