Everyone Meet Gwendolin

So, after the loss of Wesley a few days ago we had a discussion of how we wanted to proceed with regards to getting him a friend. We made the decision to have him neutered and get him a couple of wifeys. Obviously I didn't want him truly alone until then, so I thought I would look in the adoption section of our local PAH and came across a lovely 3 year old girl. She'd been brought in from her owners as they couldn't care for her anymore. She is very underweight (you can't see because of all the hair but you can feel all her bones) and has just recovered from Bumblefoot. She is very friendly and Rupert has already started trying to chat her up through the bars. I will be contacting the vet in the morning to book Rupert in for his neutering.

She is just beautiful, and she looks tiny.
Her nails are so small - were they sure about her age?
And I am sure Wesley is very proud of you for making space in your hearts for a little girl who clearly needs a good home

I suppose they could only go off what they were told by the previous owner. She is bigger than she looks in the pics but definitely needs to gain a lot of weight bless her.

She does look a little underweight, I agree with Swissgreys, nails look like a piggy under one to me very tiny. Either way glad this beauty has found her way to you., She will be adored. She is so pretty

Aww, she's lovely - as a heads up if she is ever ill i the future keep a check on the feet - as bumblefoot can re-occur if the immune system is low _ my poor old Bumble (rip) had bumblefoot twice - both after bladder stone ops - hopefully it will never happen - but can come on really really quickly xx

She looks under a year old to me as well, and in so much need of TLC. She is such a beautiful girl though

I'm so very happy Gwen found her way into a much-deserved loving home

And i bet Rupert is gonna be delighted as well!
