Ever since moo had her babies....

When I pick her up she makes this noise:

I'm not a super pig expert or anything yet so I thought I should ask but to me it sounds like an annoyed sound am I right?

Also does anyone know why she would be doing this? Is it because she doesn't want to be away from her babies?
 
She is annoyed. My girls make this sound when another guinea pigs gets too close to them and their food!

New mums don't like to be away from their babies - that will change in a couple of weeks! By about 2-3 weeks, suckling becomes painful and they are starting to discourage the pups.
 
Definately annoyed! Try not to pick her up too often and leave her alone with the babies. Having said that it's important to spend time with them so maybe have them all in together in their cage in the living room or something, so that they can start getting used to humans and noises etc.
 
I would have to agree with what has been said above. However, Moo only had her pups five days ago? Therefore, she may still be somewhat sore.
