If so, do you do it as a normal introduction or does anyone have any particular tips? Am hoping that post quarantine Biscuit will accept my baby rescue and wondering if it's worth trying to intro them to my current 2 years-old pair. Any thoughts anyone?

When Sherbet died it left Lily one her own and although we did have Panda and Midge, Lily didnt have her own friend, the local rescue only had boars at the time so we went to the garden centre and brought 2 little girls. They were intoduced to Lily straight away and after a few initial scuffles they settled down very well together. In the next cage were Panda and Midge so their introduction was much slower but once the babies were bigger the 5 of them were able to enjoy floor time together- there was just the usual bum sniffing and dominence mounting from Midge. Once they were all able to get along together I brought a 2 tier hutch which all 5 lived in together, they also had unlimited floor time. Unfortunatly a couple of months later Lily passed over to the bridge and because 2 of them weren't keen on using the upper level of the hutch I divided it into 2 seperate levels so as they would have more room but the 4 of them still all have floor time together and on occasion if I've only cleaned one level they will all sleep happily together with no problems i just make sure they have extra food and hay supplies for that night.

ive got 4 girls in two pairs, they meet each other out in the garden once a week during cages cleaning time. one female, fifi la squeak, is evil! shes currently caged with her mum kupo and shes top dog, but when she meets the other other older pair she turns into supper psycho sow! shes the only guineapig ove ever had that "sniffs" at you the other sows when they are all together, the other three get along ok. i thinks its down to the cavies indivdual personalities so good luck! -c-c
