Eventful Aussie Christmas so far 😂

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you all have a wonderful day. However you celebrate today I wish you all a lovely and happy and piggy filled day

Our Christmas Day has been quite eventful!
Woke up with a totally blocked ear (it’s been brewing for a few days). It’s given me an awful headache and my ear is constantly ‘pulsing’ and feels like I’m underwater.. not a good start to the day. But nevertheless, Jon, Fergus the dog and I went off for our picnic at lunch time which was absolutely lovely and relaxing.
We then went to a little creek to have a swim and cool down (it’s about 34c here today!). Was throughly enjoying the fresh cool water until suddenly I felt something on my leg.. As soon as I felt it I knew exactly what it was. A huge LEECH! Yuck! I ran out screaming! And that was the end of that relaxing swim
It’s left a mark on my leg!
We then got back home only to find a brown snake in the chicken coop! We’ve lost where it went though so will have to be super careful with the animals!
It’s now 7.30 pm and I’m about to pull the Xmas dinner out the oven.

Merry Christmas. What an eventful day you've had! I put the turkey in the oven about an hour and a half ago. I'll be on the Bucks Fizz later so Christimas dinner may be interesting

Merry Christmas! Reminded me of the couple of Christmases I have spent in Oz with my cousins. Loved going swimming in the creek, fortunately I never encountered a leach tho xx

What a day.
A blocked ear is miserable. Slightly warmed olive oil can help with that.
Despite the adventures hope you had a wonderful Christmas

Lying on the sofa with flu, so not eventful at all, just food that tastes very strange. I actually enjoyed sprouts for the first time in 64 years

Sorry you’re still not well. I almost laughed at the idea of you enjoying sprouts for the first time but thought was a bit cruel.

yes, I have a developed a “sprout tooth” whereas chocolate is an abomination, far too sweet! I’m definitely not well!
