Look what I found...

I think this is what she uses in piggy bed spreads! I really want to order some but will (uncharacteristically enough) think first...

This might be cheaper than the reusable incontinence pads and you can make whatever size you want. I think it's a nonwoven material and needs to be sandwiched and probably quilted between layers of fleece and something else. Like I said, thinking cap on!

That looks like it could be ace.. especially as I'm thinking of a C&C cage for my babies in the new year.. Thanks for posting that :)

Excellent find! I'm also going to get my thinking cap on...... Only problem will be the shipping, don't forget to calculate that in as over to Europe will most likely cost a fortune! Although I can't imagine it weighing much....

:) Thanks!

I checked shipping and to Sweden it will be nearly as much as the material itself. I still think it could be worth it though, to have custom sized absorbant mats for my cage area...

If there are others in the UK interested in this maybe we could organise a group buy..

I worked out it was cheaper for me to buy washable inco pads than the zorb... shame cos i really wanted it! It is what is recommended on some usa forums!

I think I'm gonna order enough for one change each for my regular "cage" and the collapsible run I'm getting to use as a temporary cage. I wander what to sandwich the zorb between... First I thought to put different patterns/colours of fleece on the both sides so that I could have options, but now I'm thinking I might want to change the fleece separately sometimes, so maybe make a "pad" with the zorb and something else. Maybe something non absorbant, like polyester? I'm so glad I'm getting a sewing machine for my birthday!
