My Boys are just a couple of weeks apart in age. Sprouse the older and Tim Tam has been his buddy for almost a week now. I have been watching them both closely and it just seems that Sprouse is rumblestrutting almost all the time except when he is distracted with eating or asleep I often wake up to them sleeping in one bed together and even eating together . At times Sprouse will even be k his own as Tim Tam has run off to his bed or to a different level but Sprouse will still rumble around and continue walking with a sway strut. Hoping someone can shed some light? it did get very vocal and at one point I heard Sprouse teeth chattering so I removed him for 15min but then he was vocal with a very high pitch wheeling almost as though he wants to be with Tim Tam. I have even heard Sprouse Rumble while he is jumping around popcorning.. is this normal?

It takes around two weeks after introduction for them to fully form their hierarchy. Rumblestrutting is a perfectly normal dominance behaviour, so is teeth chattering. They will do these behaviours for their entirely lives together even if they have a successful bond. Please don’t separate them for these behaviours.
I will add in a link to the dominance behaviours below.
