Hi all sorry to post a thread about this as there are so many threads about c+c cages but I need a bit of help getting all the things I need asap. I am unsure of when my newly obtained pregnant sow will give birth and Id like her settled in the house as soon as possible so don't want to wait for Internet delivery's. What national shops sell all I will need so I can collect and make it on the same day? Please tell me there is such a place. Not sure if it makes a difference but I'm in the west midlands uk.
If its a case of needing to buy online please point me in the direction. :)

Here's a link to what you need

These are the cage parts and come with the connectors.

Then you need ALOT of cable ties of all different sizes, try and get the same colour so they match - it looks nicer

Then finally you need Correx which you should be able to get locally at any local signmaker. If you ring a few in your area and ask for the biggest piece they will sell you (you have to be able to fit it in your car though or get it home somehow).

2 boxes will make you a HUGE cage with mesh grid floors and a few levels or one massive pen.

if you have other pets consider a lid to the cage rather than leaving it open.

Hope that helps!

Here's a list of ebay suppliers actually

i got mine from cosco which is local(ish) to me but it costs £20 to join. However it's worth it as I got my camera for much less than the regular shops and my daughters kiddiezoom camera for Christmas for £20 less than the shops too so saved more than it cost to join. The grids in my one are £10 a pack and of course no postage costs.

Don't know if they still have them though as that was a few months ago.

Thank you for your help, the top item on the list is only a 30min drive from me so I'm off to pick up 2 packs at 3pm. :)) Just hoping travis perkings have the correx as it says they do on the website so ill be going there after work tomorrow.

Coolio! That saves the postage price too making it much more affordable. Bet you cant wait to get it made. Any ideas on what kind of dimensions you want? What you want it to look like?

That's good news. Can you ring Travis Perkins in the morning so you don't have a wasted journey? We used a glue gun to attach the cut correx bits together to make the box but I know people use clear parcel tape that you can get in most supermarkets (Asda have it cheap).

I am waiting for a black piece to give my rabbit 150 an upstairs and add some smaller levels to the C&C. Because it's black it's taking a while.

Yep not only did it save me postage but I got 2 boxes for the same price as I was going to pay for 1 from wickes and as only the extra stores sell them I was still going to have an half an hour drive to get them, I'm well chuffed!

Not sure on size yet gonna go to as big as the correx lets me, well within reason. It will be long and narrow, I'm hoping for about 7ftX3ft. My next question will be about housing boars next to sows if she has any!?

Have a look here

Pompypigs C&C is pretty amazing! You shouldn't need anything like this but it will give you a great idea on how you can house boys next to girls and seperate boys if they don't get on.

Of course if you have other pets you need a lid on the cage but if not they can be open like these (I love her set up)

Well I have all I need to make it so gonna make a start after my dinner :)
